I'm Brie, a 22 year-old graduate of Slippery Rock University's Computer Science department. My interests include Linux (generally and Ubuntu), networking, BSD-style operating systems including my own, BrieSD, translating English-Spanish-English for open source projects and LAMP configuration. Aside from that, I enjoy photography, making short films and soccer.

I got my Google Wave invite!

I got my Google Wave invite. I saw it on my BlackBerry and rushed to
my closest computer to check it out.

I am going to issue summary judgment: It sucks without having any
contacts on Google Wave. As a collaboration suite, it's pretty hard to
evaluate its usefulness without anyone to collaborate with. I spent
ten minutes or so on it and got bored. I'm sure it'll be cool later,
just not yet.

Want an invite? I'll send one to the first two people to comment on
this post. :-).

I've been trying to get an invite for a while, now. :) Amazingly, I happen to be comment two (I think). If not, or you don't want to give me one, no worries. I mostly just want to see what all the hype is about, and so I may not be worth the time to give one to. :)
